![]() Junior Olympic participants are selected by the team coach.The Junior Olympics will be held on a Saturday in May at French Field, Kent-Meridian High School.No track meets will be held during Kent School District Spring Break.Parents are responsible for transportation to and from practices and meets.Tennis shoes or rubber molded cleats only. Metal cleats, spikes or shoes with the spikes removed are not allowed. Absolutely no track shoes with any type of spikes are allowed.All meets start at 4:30 pm and are held at Wilson Playfields.Schools are divided into two divisions: Cascade (Mon/Wed) and Olympic (Tue/Thurs).If a school does not have a coach or chooses not to participate, students from the school are not eligible to participate.Program is limited to participating Kent School District schools and their students.Youth Track is a joint program between the City of Kent Parks Department and the Kent School District. ![]() Registration fee includes a team shirt and visor.Games will not interfere with Kent Parks Girls Spring Volleyball league.Season will end in late June or early July.7-10 grade games are played Mon-Fri and may include doubleheaders.3/4 and 5/6 grade teams may play on a night that they do not typically play on.5/6 grade games are played predominantly on Mondays and/or Wednesdays, but will also have games on other days.3/4 grade games are played predominantly on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, but will also have games on other days.Practices start in mid-April (after Spring Break) and are at local Kent School District and City of Kent fields.Players will be contacted by the team coach in mid-April.Leagues are formed by grades 3/4, 5/6, 7-10.
